This is not the first time that we’ve discussed the possibility of Harden joining the Boston Celtics. In fact, we’ve discussed it for quite some time now. 

For a while, it looked as if the Houston Rockets might be able to send him there. It was suggested that Harden could be swapped for Jaylen Brown. There was no materialization of that plan. 

Now, it never will. It has been a long time since those years, and a lot has changed since then. As a result of their success, the Celtics have advanced to the NBA Finals as well as the Eastern Conference Finals.

It is unlikely that they will move on from Brown anytime soon. It is important to remember that Harden is getting older.
