Why The Orlando Magic Do The Deal 

Well, it’s been widely reported that the Magic could deal one of Suggs or Cole Anthony. Somebody is going to be the odd man out here. 

Let’s be honest – Suggs has been disappointing so far. Yes, he’s talented and he’s shown potential, but he’s behind expectations in terms of offensive polish. 

It may be time for the Magic to move on. If so, McDermott would be a sensible veteran addition. He’s older than this core, but he can serve as a bridge by playing a role the Magic will need somebody to play long-term. 

That somebody could be Jett Howard. He’s a shooting specialist that Orlando also drafted last night.
