The NBA Draft is here. In a few short hours, the fates of teams across the league will be decided.
Well, in a sense. We don’t know who these players will become. All we can do is project. Still, teams across the league will be selecting players who ought to be part of their long-term future.
Provided, of course, that they keep their picks. Some teams will not. A team with competitive aspirations in the lottery may move their pick for some win-now help.
For example, take the Dallas Mavericks. This team hopes to be in the title picture next season. They also have the tenth overall pick in the draft.
With that in mind, they’re a strong candidate to move their pick.
