It didn’t take long, but Bradley Beal has taken over the trade rumor mill ahead of the NBA Draft on June 22. The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are both vying to get a trade done.
The Heat just made it to the NBA Finals. If you think they’re satisfied, think again. This organization is always in championship-or-bust mode. Sure, the Heat were a Cinderella story. This team got much further than anybody anticipated they could. They still didn’t get far enough.
One of the more interesting subplots of their title run was the absence of Tyler Herro. With that in mind, don’t be surprised if Miami shops him this summer.
After all – the Heat aren’t satisfied. They’re a strong candidate to be aggressive this summer.
However, it’s appearing as though Herro wouldn’t need to be included in a trade to acquire Beal this summer. His value has dropped due to his no-trade clause. What about an upgrade and trading Herro in a separate deal? Let’s take step one first…
Here’s a trade package the Heat could send the Wizards for Beal.
