There was already plenty of intrigue around the top of this year’s NBA draft. Now, the New Orleans Pelicans are involved. 

Apparently, they want Scoot Henderson – badly. This is about to get interesting. As a matter of fact, this was already interesting enough. 

Allegedly, the Charlotte Hornets may not want him with the second overall pick. They may prefer Brandon Miller.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers allegedly want to trade their third overall pick for some win-now help for Damian Lillard. 

There are so many possible scenarios here. The combinations feel almost endless. If the Pelicans want Henderson badly enough, it seems that he’s right there for the taking.
