Although, Dort is solid. He’s developed into one of the better man-to-man defenders in the NBA. With that said, he’s undersized, and an unreliable shooter. 

Still, he’s an asset. The fact that he’s Canadian doesn’t hurt, either. Still, this isn’t about Dort for the Raptors. 

It’s about the draft capital. Following this deal, the Raptors would have back-to-back picks in the upcoming draft.
