Why The Utah Jazz Do The Deal

Well, it depends. We don’t know who will be on the board at three, and we don’t know how Utah will feel about their options.

If the Charlotte Hornets select Brandon Miller, this is a no-brainer. The Jazz will have the opportunity to select Scoot Henderson. This could be their franchise player for years to come.

On the other hand, Utah could like Miller. They could also like Amen Thompson. All told, these are both flawed players with enormous upside.

If the Jazz don’t like them,  they’ll pass on this deal. On the other hand, if they do, they’ll have to make it.
