The Charlotte Hornets have the second overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft. There’s a lot of intrigue around the selection.
For a long time, this was seen as a two man draft. Victor Wembanyama would go first, and Scoot Henderson would go second. Anything after that was to be determined.
Somewhere along the line, Brandon Miller started getting some buzz at number two. When the Hornets landed the pick, that buzz grew exponentially.
After all, this team already has a star point guard in LaMelo Ball.
If the Hornets take Miller, that will indicate that they don’t want another ball-dominant guard. If that’s the case, perhaps they’d prefer an off-ball guard like Malik Beasley of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Could they flip PJ Washington for him?
