LeBron James has had a lot of co-stars over his NBA career. The best ones were mostly guards.
James and Dwayne Wade were a dominant pair for quite some time. He’d go on to team up with Kyrie Irving and sustain that dominance.
Give James a talented offensive guard, and he’s likely to win championships.
With that said, he can do that with a two-way big as well. The Lakers bucked convention by pairing James with Anthony Davis. They won a championship by building around that star duo as well.
With that said, the Lakers have struggled to find the right point guard to play with James. Russell Westbrook didn’t pan out.
Now, it doesn’t seem like the Lakers will retain D’Angelo Russell, either.
Could they sign and trade him to the Washington Wizards?
