Every NBA player takes their own path to success. Some will look different than others.
Some players come into the league with guns blazing. It’s obvious that they’ll be contributors from day one. By their second season, they look like stars.
Other players have a slower curve. They get gradually better. They don’t flash star potential immediately, but in time, they slowly develop into a star player anyway.
That’s been the trajectory for Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans.
Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are hoping that RJ Barrett will follow the same path.
Unless they trade him for Brandon Ingram, of course.
