No. This is not a win-now move for the Celtics. 

At least, it’s not exactly a win-now move. It is fair to say that Beasley gives the Celtics a new wrinkle. He’s a little different than the rest of the guards on this roster. 

Beasley is not a combo guard. He won’t try to run point. This is a pure combo guard who provides great movement shooting and athleticism in transition.
