Sometimes, everybody wants the same thing. It doesn’t matter. Only one person can have it. That was the case when the order of the 2023 NBA Draft was announced.

Everyone was hoping to land Victor Wembanyama. Now, we know that he will be a San Antonio Spur. 

There will be no trading up for Wembanyama. This is a generational prospect. The Spurs will select him, and everybody knows it. 

On the other hand, the rest of this draft is fairly wide open. Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller and Amen Thompson could conceivably land in any order between 2-4.

Meanwhile, there could be opportunities to trade up in this draft, too.
