Here’s a question: why is Brown always in trade rumors? Is that an insult, or a compliment? 

The latter. Brown isn’t in trade rumors because Boston is dying to move off of him. He’s in trade rumors because other teams are dying to acquire him. 

Think about it. Brown was in James Harden rumors. He was in Kevin Durant rumors. This isn’t a scrub that the Celtics can’t get rid of. They’ve simply entertained moving him for superstars.

Unfortunately, the situation now is different. There are reasons to believe Brown is disillusioned with the Celtics.
