In the NBA, some say that reliability is the best ability.
There’s some merit in that position. No matter how talented a player is, they can’t contribute much if they’re constantly hurt. Injuries have robbed many remarkable players of their potential.
Here’s hoping Robert Williams III of the Boston Celtics isn’t one of those players. When he’s healthy, he’s one of the best defensive big men in the NBA.
Unfortunately, that’s all too rare of an occurrence.
Meanwhile, the Celtics will likely look to make a championship push next season. If they’re going to do so, they may look to replace Williams III with a more reliable defensive anchor.
Could Jarrett Allen of the Cleveland Cavaliers be that replacement?
