With Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on tonight featuring the Miami Heat heading to Boston to take on the Celtics, fans could not be more excited to watch the entertainment. The NBA Playoffs have been relatively lopsided in recent weeks, so being able to watch such a pivotal Game 7 is going to be fun.
After seeing the way Game 6 ended with a Derrick White game-wining tip-in as time expired, no one truly knows what to expect tonight. The Heat could head into Boston and finish what they started when they went up three games to none in the series. Or, the Celtics could finish off the historic first ever comeback from being down 3-0 in a series.
Unfortunately for the Heat, they have been dealt a tough blow on the injury front. According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, the Heat will be without both Victor Oladipo and Tyler Herro as expected, but they could also end up having to play without Gabe Vincent due to his sprained ankle.
Granted, Vincent was also questionable to play in Game 6, but was able to find a way to get on the court. Even if he does play, however, the health of his ankle overall will be a major question mark.
NBA NEWS & RUMORS: Miami Heat and Boston Celtics Updates
Vincent has been a key piece for the Heat during their playoff run this season. He has averaged 13.3 points per game to go along with 3.9 assists. In addition to those averages, he has connected on 38.2 percent of his three-point attempts.
If the Heat are going to go into Boston and knock off the Celtics, they will need all hands on deck. All the momentum has been favoring the Celtics and Boston boasts a very hostile environment for opposing teams.
