It’s hard to say. With that said, Irving went on to make comments that suggest some potential regret about his exit from Cleveland. Now, it’s reasonable to wonder whether he’d rejoin the aging superstar.
Basketball-wise, there’s no reason not to. James may be aging out his prime. Realistically, that may be perfect for Irving.

James wants to transition into a secondary playmaking role, and we suspect that Irving would be happy to take on primary responsibilities.
A trio of James, Irving, and Anthony Davis would be among the best in the NBA. If the Los Angeles Lakers can make this work financially, they have to take a risk on the mercurial Irving.
