When the Celtics acquired Brogdon, we thought they were getting their point guard. Instead, Brogdon has proven to be more of a combo guard. 

On the other hand, Jones is a point guard. In fact, he’s one of the purest in the NBA. Jones leads the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio on a seemingly annual basis. 

Meanwhile, the Celtics may need a replacement for Robert Williams III. As talented as he is, he’s become unreliable. Adams, to an extent, could be the answer.
