This feels familiar. The last time the Spurs tanked, they ended up with Tim Duncan. He was a generational big man prospect with skills that transcended the 5 spot. 

In fact, Duncan played much of his career at the 4. Partly, that was due to his pairing with a muscle-bound big who was suited to traditional big man duties.

Duncan and David Robinson were one of the great twin-tower pairings in NBA history.

It could even carry the Spurs back to the top.
