The Boston Celtics are staring down a potential series sweep at the hands of the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite a possible return to the NBA Finals, they’ve shown little fight.

There are going to need to be changes of some sort for the Celtics. Jaylen Brown’s future with the team has been a talking point.

However, Brown has since qualified for a supermax contract extension after being named to the All-NBA Second-Team.

It may feel like it’s inevitably heading for a divorce. Still, we don’t know for sure. This is a team that just made the NBA Finals. Surely, there’s some possibility of working this out. 

So, we’re going to suggest a trade that has nothing to do with Brown at all. Instead, this trade aims to improve the core that the Celtics currently have. 

This trade has them landing Myles Turner of the Indiana Pacers.
