Believe it or not, the NBA playoffs are still ongoing. Lately, there’s been a lot of attention given to the draft. That makes sense.
Victor Wembanyama is a generational prospect. The order of this year’s lottery was more significant than usual.
Still…it’s all about the playoffs, right? What’s the point of the draft? Isn’t it for teams to select the players that will eventually lead them on playoff runs?
Look at the Boston Celtics. They built this team through the draft. With that said, nobody knows if they’ll escape the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.
If they don’t, they could make a big trade this summer.
Could they land DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls?
