Brooklyn Nets Receive: C Jusuf Nurkic, F Nassir Little, 2023 First-Round Pick (No. 4 – HOU), 2023 First-Round Pick (No. 23 – POR via NYK), 2024 First-Round Pick (BKN via HOU)
Portland Trail Blazers Receive: G/F Mikal Bridges, C Nic Claxton
So, the Brooklyn Nets may not want to rebuild without their own draft capital. Would getting one of their picks back to change the equation?
Perhaps not. The Nets would still owe their 2025, 2026, and 2027 picks to the Rockets. At the same time, they could reason that they’ll have put a competitive core together by then – and a much younger one to boot.
As for the Rockets, they probably only do this if the Hornets’ interest in Brandon Miller is real. In that event, they’re moving up to select Scoot Henderson. He could be their franchise player.

In that event, the Blazers would have to turn to another team entirely.
