Golden State Warriors 

The Golden State Warriors would have a few reasons to be interested in DeMar DeRozan. 

Firstly, they’ll want his expiring contract. This team is about to get prohibitively expensive. Eventually, they’ll need to cut costs. Acquiring DeRozan would help in that regard. 

This could go a couple of days. The Bulls could be interested in Jordan Poole. Alternatively, the Warriors could send the Bulls Draymond Green in a bid to avoid extending him. They’d have to attach either Jonathan Kuminga or draft capital to get the deal done.

Of course, the Warriors wouldn’t strictly acquire DeRozan for financial reasons. He’d also be a perfect fit with this roster.

Any plus passer tends to thrive in Golden State, and DeRozan’s limitations as a shooter would be mitigated alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. 

This group could have everyone talking about them come playoff time next season.
