Why The Washington Wizards Do The Deal 

We don’t know what the Wizards are thinking. We can only say what we’re thinking about them. 

Frankly, we’re thinking it’s time to move on. This team is heading nowhere – fast. Why shouldn’t they pursue a shift in direction? 

This would be a good shift. In terms of name value, this return is highlighted by RJ Barrett. He’s been inconsistent throughout his career, but he’s still young enough to make good on his star potential. 

With that said, Toppin and Quickley have both flashed potential as well. This deal gives the Wizards an exciting young core.

Throw in a pair of first-round picks, and it should entice them to move on from Beal.
