As the NBA playoffs advance, we get closer to the NBA’s offseason. By now, only four teams remain.

The league’s other 26 teams are subject to trade rumors. We don’t make the rules. 

After all, a second-round exit isn’t necessarily satisfying. Moreover, it’s an outcome that can inspire major moves either way.

A team that thinks they’re close could make a win-now move, and a team that was supposed to contend could blow it up. 

Otherwise, any team that was eliminated in the first round, or missed the playoffs altogether is fair game. Why wouldn’t they be? These are the teams that make moves that shape the NBA.
