Why The Golden State Warriors Do The Deal 

The Warriors are interested in both the player and the pick they’re receiving here. 

The interest in the pick is obvious. They’d be kicking the can. Flipping Kuminga for a young player they won’t acquire for several years makes sense if he’s angling to get off of the team anyway. 

Yet, Kleber makes sense for this team as well. This is a solid defensive big who offers a little floor spacing. Moreover, Kleber is a high-feel veteran who should match Golden State’s system nicely.
