In the NBA, cap space is a precious commodity. The Houston Rockets enter this summer with more of it than any team in the league.
This team will be looking to take a step forward in 2023-24. That shouldn’t be too difficult.
After all, the Rockets have been dwelling in the NBA’s basement for three consecutive seasons. It would almost be difficult not to improve.
The Rockets can use their cap space to sign the best free agents they can attract.
With that said, they could also trade into that space. That’s a unique advantage of having this much cap space.
Unlike most teams, the Rockets wouldn’t need to match salaries to bring in an impact player via trade.
Could they bring in OG Anunoby of the Toronto Raptors?
