The Houston Rockets don’t care about your rebuilding model. At least, if the rumors have any truth in them, they don’t. This has been one of the worst teams in the NBA for the last few seasons.
With that in mind, most would suggest that the Rockets should take their time.
It doesn’t feel like they’re going to. The Rockets already hired Ime Udoka this summer. Meanwhile, they’ve been linked to stars like James Harden, Jaylen Brown, and Khris Middleton.
Of course, the Rockets may not bring any of those big names in. That doesn’t mean they can’t make meaningful improvements.
This team has assets and cap space that they could use in a variety of ways.
Could they use them to acquire Alex Caruso of the Chicago Bulls?
