Time will tell. There’s a very real case to be made that the Blazers should trade Lillard.

Realistically, it’s difficult to imagine how this team will return to serious title contention.

On the other hand, there has to be a strong temptation to hold onto Lillard. There is obviously a mutual desire between the player and organization to make this work here.
