Sometimes, we’d all like a do-over. Do you live without regret? Are you sure? Isn’t it possible that you’re simply repressing those regretful feelings? NBA teams and players can sympathize.
Forget our armchair psychology. Again, NBA players want a do-over as well. They may wish that things had gone differently on a team they were once on.
Would Kristaps Porzingis like a do-over with the New York Knicks? We’re not sure. We can only say that the partnership between this player and the team ended very unceremoniously.
A lot has changed for the Knicks since that point. Now, they are led by Jalen Brunson in the backcourt with Julius Randle at the four.
Brunson already has a lot of familiarity with Porzingis from their time with the Dallas Mavericks. With the Knicks, they’d be filling larger roles they’d perhaps greater appreciate than they did next to Luka Doncic.
Here’s a sign-and-trade scenario that has them giving it another shot this summer.
