Why The Golden State Warriors Do The Deal 

When the Warriors extended Poole, the logic was sound enough. Plugging an alpha scorer into their vaunted offensive system would be like throwing a stick of dynamite into…well, a pit of dynamite. 

Unfortunately, Poole hasn’t fulfilled that role. In the 2022-23 playoffs, he’s especially struggled. The Warriors may look to move on this summer. 

If so, why not replace him with a true alpha scorer? Bradley Beal is a bucket. With the spacing he’d enjoy in this Warriors system, he may be unguardable. 

Of course, he’s also expensive. Meanwhile, the Warriors are about to face a daunting tax bill. So what?
