New York Knicks Receive: G/F Paul George 

If the Knicks are replacing Barrett with George, why not do it directly? 

After all, the Clippers may be looking to make changes this summer as well. They had a remarkably disappointing season. Meanwhile, Kawhi Leonard may miss most of next season with an injury. 

Is it time for them to move on? If so, they could flip George for some younger players with potential. By contrast, this is a win-now move for the Knicks. They’re trying to launch themselves into title contention. 

With that said, the Clippers may not want Barrett. After all, they’ve seen the same limitations in his game that the Knicks have.
