If the Phoenix Suns want to move on from Chris Paul, perhaps finding a third team in part of a Deandre Ayton trade could get the job done.

With the Brooklyn Nets’ focus on competing as opposed to undergoing a long-term rebuilding effort, it wouldn’t hurt to bring Mikal Bridges’ former floor general to help elevate the group at the end of his NBA career.

To acquire Paul, the Nets would send the Suns’ 2023 first-round pick back to Phoenix, which could be additionally valuable in a deal.

The Suns would need to find a replacement center for Ayton elsewhere since they wouldn’t be acquiring one in return in this trade.
