The Miami Heat just pulled off quite an upset in the NBA playoffs. Nobody expected them to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round. Nobody.
Jimmy Butler’s performance in that series will be remembered long after he retires. There was a conspicuous absence in this series. Tyler Herro missed it with an injury.
Somehow, the Heat pulled off the impossible without one of their best scorers. At the same time, their victory over Milwaukee got us thinking… Do the Heat not need Herro? That might be a stretch.
If the Heat decide to shake up the roster in the offseason to bolster what they have around Butler, one option in doing so could be to move Herro.
Imagine getting a few solid players in return and some assets. A depleted Heat franchise could gain the necessary means to take advantage of the trade market for a more impactful piece.
Could they send him to the Brooklyn Nets this summer?
