There is no doubt that this is one of the best offensive big men in the history of the NBA. Even though Towns has some defensive flaws, there is no denying his ability to generate a bucket with ease.
There is a possibility that the Raptors will have the roster to cover for those limitations. In addition to him, they would be starting Pascal Siakam as well as Scottie Barnes alongside him. This is a pair of versatile defenders who should be able to offset Towns’ limitations to some degree.
In the meantime, Town can compensate for the lack of floor spacing that they have. On the whole, this is a good fit from a practical standpoint.
