The Los Angeles Clippers continue to be marred by injuries to their NBA superstars when the team needs their top talents the most. Against a star-studded Phoenix Suns team, not having Paul George or Kawhi Leonard available has proven especially costly.
George was ruled out for the start of the series due to a knee sprain. He has yet to appear in the playoffs but hasn’t been ruled out.
During a recent episode of ‘Podcast P with Paul George,’ he mentioned that while he doesn’t have a firm timetable for return yet, he’s making progress.
“I’m working my ass off,” George said of his recovery. “I’m trying to get back to Clipper Nation. I’m trying to get back there to support my guys and be there in the trenches with them. Literally working every day.”
“I’m working. Just know I’m working. I’m training my a** off. I’m in the best shape, so when that time comes, I’ll be back with the troops and try to go get this trophy.”

“I just feel sorry for him. Probably was playing his best basketball in a while,” Clippers guard Russell Westbrook said of Leonard. “The best in the world, honestly.”
