Being the first overall pick in the NBA Draft is quite an accomplishment. It also comes with expectations.
Every player to be selected in that spot won’t necessarily meet those expectations. Sadly, there is a wide range of factors that can keep a player from reaching their potential.
One of those factors is health. Injuries can put significant limitations on a player’s career. Just look at recent number one pick Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans.
Unfortunately, Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons had to miss his sophomore season after being picked first overall as well.
Hopefully, these two potential superstars can overcome their health concerns.
Could they do it together on the Pistons?
