In fact, even front offices sometimes need to tempt expectations. Things won’t always work out as planned.
For example, when the Miami Heat acquired Kyle Lowry, it’s been suggested that they thought they were getting a star. Indeed, Lowry had been one of the most consistent players in the NBA for some time.
On the other hand, Lowry is nearing the end of his career. The Heat should not be shocked that he’s declining.
