Why The Dallas Mavericks Do The Deal

We’ll say this much: if Williamson can stay healthy, the Mavericks should win this deal.

After all, he’s a force when he’s healthy. Williamson is an automatic paint touch. His unique blend of size, power, verticality, and ball-handling allows him to get a dunk or layup whenever he wants one.

Of course, Doncic is incredible in his own right. In a world where the two stars were swapped one-for-one, and both stayed healthy, it’s hard to say which of these teams would win the deal.

With that said, the Mavericks wouldn’t agree to a one-for-one swap. Williamson is too injury prone.
