The Houston Rockets are a proud NBA franchise. Historically, this team wins more often than it loses.

The Rockets aren’t always in the title picture, but usually, they’re at least competitive. That’s what’s made these last few years so exceptional. 

The Rockets have been tanking. Flagrantly. They were the worst team in the NBA for two seasons before this one.

They narrowly avoided becoming the first team to hit that mark for three consecutive seasons in 2022-23. Next year, this organization is expecting change.

The Rockets will owe their next first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder with top-4 protection. They’ll be hoping to take a significant step forward.
