Why The New York Knicks Do The Deal 

The first question for the Knicks is whether Brown would prefer New York to Boston. 

Based on the nature of his apparent issues in Boston, he’s likely to. Without getting political, we’ll simply note that the Big Apple feels more like a place Brown would be happy to call home. 

If so, the Knicks should be happy to have him. Brown is a perfect fit for this roster. We’re talking about one of the best shot creators in the NBA. 

We’re also talking about a limited playmaker. That’s fine. Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson handle those responsibilities for New York.
