Why The New Orleans Pelicans Do The Deal 

Anunoby is sturdier than Ingram. That’s one reason the Pelicans would do this deal. 

After all, it’s difficult enough to rely on one star who’s prone to get hurt. Relying on two is practically impossible. 

With that said Ingram isn’t injury-prone enough to trade on those grounds alone. The Pelicans would have to be getting a good player in return. Luckily, that’s exactly what’s happening here. 

As a matter of fact, we don’t know exactly how good Anunoby can be. It’s been rumored that he wants to leave the Raptors because he isn’t happy with his role.
