Why The Toronto Raptors Do The Deal 

If the Raptors’ recent moves are any indication, they’ll resist this type of move. 

After all, they acquired Jakob Poeltl at the expense of a first-round pick at this year’s trade deadline. That move suggests that the Raptors aren’t open to rebuilding.

They may want to reconsider that position. Especially if this deal is on the table.

The Raptors obviously love big ball handlers, and this deal nets them two of them.
