Why The Indiana Pacers Do The Deal 

We think so. Frankly, we love the fit here. 

The Pacers seem to be prioritizing shooting in this rebuild. That’s smart. Shooting is arguably the most important skill in basketball. 

They’ve got two elite shooters in Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield. Meanwhile, they keep the floor spaced with Myles Turner at the five. With that said, this deal doesn’t merely have them adding a spot-up shooter. 

It’s got them landing their second option behind Haliburton. Markkanen has developed into a player that can create his own offense.
