Why The Washington Wizards Do The Deal
Well, it should be. Bradley Beal does not look like he’ll be the best player on a championship team.
At this point, that seems like a reality. Meanwhile, it’s hard to imagine the Wizards acquiring such a player.
It’s time to rebuild. That much is obvious. With that in mind, the question here is whether this deal gets them off to the right start.
We’d argue that it does. Williams III looks like a Defensive Player of the Year candidate when healthy, and Grant Williams is a great rotational piece as well.
