As a matter of fact, this situation has gone on for longer than many may have expected. 

After all, in today’s NBA, star players are prone to leaving their teams as soon as they’re dissatisfied. By that standard, it’s a miracle that Lillard still resides in Portland. 

Just look at Brown and the Celtics. This team reached the NBA Finals just last season. Yet, some have speculated that Brown could leave Boston this summer anyway. There are a number of reasons for that. 

Brown will be in a contract year next season. That alone would not be a reason to move him.
