Why The Orlando Magic Do The Deal 

Of course, the Magic aren’t strictly flipping Fultz for Ball here. The Hornets wouldn’t go for that. 

They’re also sending them three first-round picks and a swap. That’s a significant amount of draft capital. Should the Magic really part with all of it? 

Sure. Yes, this is a swing. It’s a bold move. On the other hand, if it pays off, the Magic should have the best young core in the NBA. 

Paolo Banchero looks like a franchise player. Franz Wagner looks like a great secondary option. The Magic will also be adding another lottery pick this season.
