Of course, if they don’t retain James Harden this summer, they won’t have as much of a roster to balance. There are rumors that he could head elsewhere. Let’s assume they aren’t true. 

If that assumption holds, the Sixers have a superstar big in Embiid, and two-star guards in Harden and Maxey. What they don’t have is a star wing. See where we’re going with this? 

George is a star wing. In fact, he’s a 3-and-D wing with elite shot creation ability to spare. In other words, he’s the perfect third star to support the Embiid/Harden duo.
