Do we really need to justify the deal for the Knicks? 

This is already a good team. If they add Joel Embiid, they’ll be a better one. In fact, they’ll be bonafide NBA title contenders. 

That holds especially true in light of how well Julius Randle is shooting the ball. The Knicks would have optimal spacing around Embiid. This feels like a perfect fit for the big man. 

After all, the Knicks have a lot of talent. They’re simply missing that top 5 superstar.
