Why The Miami Heat Do The Deal
Let’s be honest – the Nuggets could win the title and make this whole deal moot. The Heat are not likely to do so this season.
They’ve looked off throughout the year. Butler is playing well individually, but the Heat have been underwhelming. Plenty have speculated that this core has hit its ceiling.
Why not shoot for a younger core? Adding Murray to a group that already features Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro puts Miami in an interesting position. Suddenly, this team is rebuilding.
That doesn’t mean they’re tanking. This would be a great collection of young talent that’s ready to win now.
