Why The Miami Heat Do The Deal 

Sure, the Heat have had a somewhat underwhelming season. A look at their roster suggests an obvious solution. 

This team needs a point guard. Kyle Lowry has had an outstanding NBA career, but he’s past his prime. This is not the player the Heat were hoping to acquire years ago. 

By contrast, Rozier could be exactly what they need. He’s a talented, aggressive scorer who can create shots for himself out of thin air. He’d make this team significantly better. 

It doesn’t matter that he’s not as gifted in playmaking, either.

The Heat get most of their assists by way of Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler. All they need at this position is a scorer.
